RETAIL, COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL SPACES THAT ARE AT THE HEIGHT OF MODERN LIVING

Jarvis Commercial is fortunate to benefit from the wisdom and experience of Nicholas Ratcliffe, who is a Chartered Surveyor with upwards of 30 years’ experience in the property industry.

Since 1993 he has been an intrinsic part of the rejuvenation of many large town centres in the North West of England. His experience spans many aspects of both residential and commercial property sectors, from conception and acquisition, right through to the restoration and delivery of new developments.

Similarly, Paul Burgess, (consultant to Jarvis Commercial) has an impressive professional career, having spent 25 years working at the admired Emerson Group. He therefore also has a significant level of experience of working on the development of commercial centres across the North West.

Together, Nicholas and Paul are now capitalising on their ability to deliver substantial mixed-use schemes and are in talks with a number of local authorities and investors in and around the North West of England. For them, Jarvis Commercial represents the catalyst for unlocking the potential of a number of town centre sites.

THE HUBB

The Jarvis Commercial team is working on a mixed-use scheme which provides both internal and external multi-functional space. This Greater Manchester project is currently going through the pre-application planning stage.

Nicholas has been working with HCD Architects on town centre redevelopment schemes now for more than 20 years and together they have created The HUBB. The HUBB will provide a focal point for towns where local people can meet, socialise, live and work.

Jarvis Commercial has a requirement for town centre sites initially within Greater Manchester starting from as small as 1/3 of an acre. Each location will require a bespoke external design, with the internal space remaining consistent in terms of accommodation provision.

The concept provides active ground floor uses both internally and externally with mixed complementary uses on the upper floors.

It may be possible to convert existing building which can provide a minimum of 25,000sqft or 2,323 SqM nett plus car parking.

The Ratcliffe Property Group will retain the freehold interest as all occupiers will be local people, families and small business and most of the funding will be provided from internal resource.

Opportunities

Jarvis Commercial has a requirement for sites across the North West that would be suitable for mixed-use schemes and big enough to create a blended retail, commercial and residential space.

Jarvis Commercial’s goal is to deliver a number of sustainable mixed-use schemes which will rejuvenate tired high streets and town centres, initially in the Greater Manchester area.

The company has a number of schemes in its pipeline and has joined up with a hospitality specialist from Dubai to bring about a major town centre redevelopment.

Their first large mixed-use scheme will be the first of many collaborations between Jarvis Commercial and its sister company, bespoke housing developer, Harvey Homes.

This development is the inaugural project from Jarvis Commercial and it has much support behind it. Details and specifications about the project will be announced once the initial pre-planning discussion has been concluded with members and officers.

RPG Contracts

RPG Construction is the construction arm of Jarvis Commercial which allows the company to self-build. A number of professional consultants have been brought together to make this endeavour a reality, all of whom have an established track record in their areas of expertise.
